Sea Kayaking for the Disabled since 2012

A whole world of exploration is the reward for anyone taking up sea kayaking. And we do mean anyone. After 20 years of sea kayaking, we are donating talent to an exclusive experience aimed at people with lower limb difficulties gaining confidence and skills allowing simple trips amidst some of the still stunning scenery in Geoje. This has been inspired by a handful of people over the years who’ve joined our open courses so we thought why not run dedicated short sea kayak trips for disabled people.

With one day to train and learn we allow people to engage in one of the fastest growing desired activities in recent years. The aim is quite simple though - we want to get people into sea kayaking and allow some touring  so that an appreciation of the wild areas of the Coast line can be experienced.

And we are not limiting anyone with a disability to just experiencing our home area here in Geoje.

So please put the word out – Able bodied members are welcomed on these weeks so as to assist with the shore based elements and needs of individuals.

A big thank you to all of our supporters in the 2012 ~ 2015 launch of this events in Namhae, Gyeongsangnam-do. Two welfare centers (House of Hope, Namhae and Gaonnuri), in the year 2014 Koje Aikwangwon experienced safe and successful days on the sea water.

The most different aspect of this glorifying event from our everyday kayaking is that each 'students' need two assistants to get in and to get out of the boat. Should we need triple volunteers than kids kayaking. Needless to say blessing opportunity for your kids, too.

In 2015, we not only succeed the disabled kayaking but also try new blessing challenge for Autism children. For more visit
